Presenter: Well, listening to you, it does sound like it’s the perfect sport for
developing both your body and your character. Yet, often people believe that
skateboarding is a troublesome and meaningless activity, and there are many
public places – including schools – where you can see signs saying ‘No
skateboarding allowed!’
Mr. Flint: It’s true that people often don’t understand skateboarding as a sport. It
is sometimes associated with gangs of angry youths hanging around town centers
at night and therefore seen as an “underground” sport. It is a shame as there are
some brilliant role models out there. In fact, speaking of bad behavior, get
skateboards in schools and you will take the aggression out of the classroom and
into the adrenaline rush of tricks! We need schools to consider skateboarding as a

Then Celts and Vikings unite, and the Manx nation is born. The actual Pageant is followed by a grand torchlight procession and firework display.

Thank you for your letter. I'm sorry for not writing you for so long. I was preparing to the exams.
Your New Year card is spectacular. I hope you liked mine. Speaking about my celebration of New Year, I spent time with my family. As usual, we celebrated at home. The weather was fantastic. Especially for little children who enjoy playing with snow. Well, my secret wish concerns my family and friends. I want them to stay as healthy and happy as they are now.
Anyway, you've mentioned redecorating your room. Which color is now dominant in your room? Are there any pictures on the walls? Are your walls painted of is there wallpaper?
I've got to go as my father is asking me to help him with his car.

Family relationships is one of the most popular topic for discussion nowdays. There are people who consider that it is essential to live in a big family. However, others argue saying that there are no benefits in having a big family.
There are two good reasons why I think that it is important both for children and adults to live in a huge family. Firstly, if you live with your relatives they can give you good advice in some situations. It can be attractive for you because if you doubt a lot they help you to make a right decision. Secondly, all members of your family help you in a difficult situations. They can even support you with money.
Nevertheless, there are people who believe that it is really difficult to live in a big family. There are hustle and bustle everywhere and you also haven’t got enough spare place for yourself and freedom at all.
I disagree with this opinion because it is fun to live in a big family. Despite the fact that all members can irritate each other you all are still reliable and true friends.
To sum up, although there are people who think that it is really difficult to live in a big family , I strongly believe that there are no things better than supporting and helps that big family can gifts you

St Bernards have never carried brandy barrels. The dog’s mission is entirely different – apart from anything else giving brandy to someone with hypothermia is a disastrous mistake – but tourists have always loved the idea, so they still pose wearing them. Before they were trained as mountain rescue dogs, they were used by the monks at the hospice to carry food, as their large size and docile temperament made them good pack animals.
The brandy barrel was the idea of a young English, who was much favoured by Queen Victoria. He was a renowned painter of landscapes and animals, best known for his painting The Monarch of the Glen and for sculpting the lions around the base of Nelson’s Column. Originally, St Bernards were known as Barry hounds, who rescued forty people but was unfortunately killed by the forty-first, who mistook him for a wolf.

I’ve chosen photo number 2. Do you know that I like taking pictures? I had holidays this summer and I had decided to travel to Norway because I had never been there before. I took the photo when I was passing by the local village. It was the first day of my trip. In the front of the picture you can see two beautiful kids wearing self made out of flowers dresses. On the right sight of the background there is a local forest, on the left sight you can see the grassland. These two girls live in the village and I asked if I can make a photo with them. Luckily they agreed and posed for a while. I keep the photo in my album because of the beautiful view. Also it is the only picture from my trip. I decided to show the photo to you because I find it truly beautiful. The picture represents both nature and culture of the country. Hopefully, you will manage to travel with me next summer.

In the photo number one we can see a boat with two fishermen in it. They are in a still water, probably it is a big lake or a sea very early in the morning. The weather is good and warm. In the picture number two we see a fisherman as well. He has just caught a fish and tries not to lose it. The background of this picture is very beautiful. Probably it is a small river somewhere far from the city.
Both of the pictures show us the fishing process. Both give us information about different types of fishing. The difference is that fishermen in the first picture don’t have any fish on the hook, while a man on the right has already caught his victim.
As for me, I can say that though I’m not a big fan of killing live creatures I think that fishing is better than hunting. I’d probably like to spend one of my weekends going to fishing with my dad. He loves it a lot. Unfortuntely, we don’t have a boat. It would be so great to be a captain of our fishing expedition.
